Mission
- Protect the life and material assets of Nicaraguans, contributing to the preservation of public health, the environment and the socioeconomic development of Nicaragua, through the timely extinction of fires, search and rescue. Guarantee the prevention of fires and special risks in economic, social, port and airport infrastructure, training, certifying, accrediting and registering natural and legal persons who are dedicated to the trade, transportation, handling and storage of hazardous materials, all with a focus on gender.
Vision
- Transform the General Directorate of Firefighters of Nicaragua into a State Institution that provides protection to Nicaraguan society without distinction of any kind, when people or their property are threatened by the emergence of fires, accidents or natural disasters, basing their act in the highest human values and in the permanent search for excellence for the provision of its services.
