Nicaraguan Red Cross, is a humanitarian, non-profit, auxiliary to public authorities and voluntary, member of the international Red Cross Red Crescent movement, has the mission:
“Contribute to protect and improve the quality of life, health, human dignity and to reduce the vulnerability of people, without distinction of race, religion, nationality, sex, social condition or political affiliation. It also strives in the search and promotion of peace and strict respect for the rights of people. “
